NCFET™ — National Certified Fitness Equipment Technician
National Certified Fitness Equipment Technician

Setting the Standard for Fitness Equipment Service

NCFET is the professional certification authority dedicated to ensuring every fitness equipment technician is verified, skilled, and trusted.

Why NCFET Exists

For too long, the fitness equipment service industry has had no unified standard. Technicians learned on the job with wildly inconsistent training, and employers had no reliable way to verify that a technician was truly competent.

NCFET was built to fix that. We provide comprehensive coursework, rigorous testing, practical assessments, and transparent public credential verification — giving the industry the professional infrastructure it has always needed.

Trust Through Verification

A credential is only as valuable as its verifiability. Every NCFET certificate has a unique identifier that can be looked up instantly at NCFET.com/verify — by employers, facility managers, and clients anywhere in the world.

Assessed on Real Equipment

Proven in the Field, Not Just on Paper

Every NCFET credential is backed by documented service hours and a hands-on practical assessment performed on real fitness equipment — treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and strength systems.

That means a certification reflects what a technician can actually do in the field, giving employers and facilities confidence in every NCFET-certified professional.
