Fitness Equipment Service Standards
NCFET™ defines and enforces professional standards for fitness equipment service technicians. These standards cover safety practices, technical competency, documentation requirements, and professional conduct — forming the foundation for all NCFET™ certifications.
The Standard Behind the Service
The fitness equipment service industry has historically operated without a consistent professional standard. Technicians with widely varying skill levels, safety knowledge, and documentation practices all work side by side with no public way to distinguish one from another.
NCFET™ exists to change that. Our credentialing framework establishes clear, measurable standards that technicians must meet and maintain — giving facilities, employers, and end users a reliable way to identify qualified professionals.
Disclaimer: NCFET™ is a private professional credentialing and training platform. NCFET™ standards represent internal credentialing requirements, not government-mandated regulations. NCFET™ is not a government agency.
